The following organizations have partnered with the Metastasis Research Society to ensure the success of this project:
METAvivor Research and Support Inc. (project subcontractor)
From advocacy to the funding of vital research, METAvivor’s programs sustain the power of hope. Passionately committed patients ourselves, we rally public attention to the urgent needs of the metastatic breast cancer (MBC) community, help patients find strength through action, purpose and support, and make EVERY dollar count as we work with researchers to regain longevity with quality of life.
METAvivor funds research that specifically addresses the mechanistic understanding, diagnosis, and/or treatment of metastatic breast cancer. All individuals with a clinical doctoral degree or with a doctoral degree who are actively engaged in areas of metastatic breast cancer research and treatment are eligible to apply. METAvivor now also offers grants for young investigators.

Sentinel Node Oncology Foundation (clinical partner)
The sentinel lymph node in the body is the gateway for cancer to spread (metastasize). Therefore, the Sentinel Node Oncology Foundation (SNOF) was created in 2003 on the premise that the next level of cancer research and treatment is upon us to understand more about this important gateway. SNOF is building a robust sentinel lymph node databank so that the natural history of patients with solid cancer can be accurately defined by their genetic profiles. SNOF has unified cancer specialists as members, working together to reach its goals through research and clinical trials, and hosts a biennial conference on sentinel node biology. The next conference is scheduled for October of 2019. The MRS works with SNOF in partnership to bring the clinical perspective to metastasis reasearch and treatment.
